AI4RISK proposes an innovative platform for enhancing homeland security, offering multi-source data integration, real-time image stream processing and the use of explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) for risk analysis and estimation. In contrast to existing solutions, the platform combines interactive mapping, aerial data processing and advanced analytics services, providing a comprehensive overview of regions at risk.
The project supports two key scenarios: planning, through predictive analysis and risk anticipation, and mission coordination, through real-time data visualization. By using generative methods, normalizing multi-source data and integrating it into complex systems, the platform provides efficient decision support tailored for both rapid interventions and long-term strategies.
This project is funded by the research grant PN-IV-P6-6.3-SOL-2024-2024-2-0251 by UEFISCDI, and runs for 24 months, from September 2024 to August 2026.
