Andreea Griparis received the M.S. and Ph.D. in electronics and telecommunications engineering from the University Politehnica of Bucharest UPB, Bucharest, Romania, in 2014 and 2018, respectively.
Since 2018, when she received her Ph.D. degree in visual data mining for image datasets, she has been a lecturer with the Department of Applied Electronics and Information Engineering, where she teaches subjects related to natural language processing and image processing, such as Computer Vision and Medical Imaging.
Since 2014, she has been a research engineer at POLITEHNICA Bucharest, Research Center for Spatial Information CeoSpaceTech, participating in various research projects including eVADE Interactive Visual Analysis Tool for Earth Observation Data, and DAS-Tool Multispectral Data Analysis Toolbox for SNAP, ESA’s SentiNel Application Platform.
